Why the hell did Max choose such a long and foreign language-y name for his new-fangled idol blog?

Well, the romanization of the title is “Me no Mae no Kakumei,” which, if written ｢目の前の革命」 means “Revolution in front of my eyes.” For this blog, I wrote split kakumei into the four syllables in the word: ka, ku, me and i.

Each kanji has a meaning that has to do with the blog or the idols.

歌 is pretty recognizable if you are into Japanese Music. It means song, which is what this blog is basically about: songs and music. I thought it made sense xP

紅 means ‘red.’ I chose it because the idols I listen to are female, and women are part of the Red team in the Kouhaku Utagassen.

芽 means ‘seedling,’ which denotes how idols change over the years. They start as something like a seedling, and gradually transform into the idols we know and love today.

意 means mind, and I guess represents the mental concentration that idols use to do their job, and the fact that this is an opinionated blog so everything here isn’t the end-all-be-all of the idol world. Please understand this :3
