You may have heard of Aikawa Kozue. If not, what is WRONG WITH YOU. She’s an amazing dancer and she’s one of my favourite idols (she’s officially an idol now that she’s joined DANCEROiD lol) She’s pretty famous in the youtube dance community for doing H!P dances, as well as other meme dances (and there used to be a cover of RIVER there too . . . it seems to have disappeared though =/ )
Well today, it seems that her career has taken an interesting turn.
On October 27th, Mitani Nana will be releasing a cover of Luka Luka Night Fever, and Aikawa Kozue will be dancing on the DVD, as well as being the cover model. If you’ve followed Aikawa at all, you’d know that she’s covered that dance on her youtube channel, and it’s one of her most viewed videos (with nearly 2 million views).
She’s a really energetic dancer, and as such it makes sense that she’s one of the founding members of DANCEROiD. I’m excited no matter what for the single, even if it’s got the unfortunate date to release on the same day as both AKB48 and Morning Musume. She’s probably really excited not only for the single release, but also to be releasing on the same day as Morning Musume. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a dance cover of Appare Kaiten Zushi on her youtube or niconico channel sometime soon after the single is released.

And this one is Watashi no Mirai no Danna-sama. She seems to be a Momoko fan since she usually covers Momoko’s part in her videos. In this video she actually looks kind of like Masuda Yuka to me, but maybe I’m crazy.

I always had respect for her since she’s not only a girl who does covers but a professional. But I don’t like to much how her career is going since she’s so famous.
She almost only does covers of famous song on YouTube/NicoNico… I would like to see her doing more original videos.
She didn’t do a cover of Luka Luka… she created the chroreography btw xD.
She created that choreography?! Wow! That adds another level to her awesomeness, especially since that’s the only choreography i’ve ever seen to that song (and since i’ve seen plenty of vocaloid covers of luka luka that use her choreography) she’s even more impressive than I thought xD Now I really hope for even more for her ):
Kozue is pheonomenal! I have been following her for years now! She deserves more fame I think for her talent..such a powerful and professional dancer for her age!!
I also now follow KimonoTime too! She has been claimed by the views as the british kozue! She only started posting videos in september but she is doing very well. Her energy and smile and dances are very simukar to Kozue’s, you should check her out!
